Market update

Prices for lemons, navels, and mandarins have dropped significantly across all markets in the Middle East this week. The decline is mainly attributed to an oversupply of fruit combined with slower sales and overall reduced market movement, as consumer preference has moved to local summer fruits at lower price levels. Although South African Valencia volumes in the market remain limited, movement is slow, reflecting the broader downward trend currently affecting the citrus fruit.
