In General
There has been no significant change in market trends from last week, with good demand continuing for Valencia and Navelate/Cambria oranges, as well as pears, due to limited supply. South Africa is now at the tail-end of the season for all these varieties. The market remains slow for other commodities.
Market conditions remain unpredictable due to ongoing logistical challenges, port clearance delays, vessel delays, limited truck availability, and elevated transportation costs.

Lemons
Lemon availability continued to increase as further Southern Hemisphere volumes entered Middle Eastern markets. The higher level of supply, combined with subdued demand, continued to keep the market under pressure. Buyers remained cautious, with purchasing power remaining limited. Lemons remains under pressure with Turkey also entering the market.
Oranges
Egyptian Valencia oranges remained available, while South African Navel volumes continued to increase. Rising South African availability maintained strong competition in the market. South African Valencia oranges are also available and continue to sell at average price levels.
